The A Room


The Studio.45 A-Room features a custom console designed by Peter Troisi. The console was built in the mid seventies and has been continuously modified over the years. It features twenty-six inputs with API 560, 550, and APSI 559 equalizers, four echo returns with Troisi three band parametric equalizers, two stereo busses (one original Troisi design, one utilizing API 2520 discreet op-amp) twenty-four multi-track busses and eight stereo VCA groups with onboard stereo compressors all in an ergonomic and space efficient in line design.

The machine room features a MCI JH-24 2" twenty-four track, JH-110 ¼" and ½" two track tape machines and a Tascam DA30 MK-II digital two-track via an outboard A to D. All have direct feeds to the Studer Dyaxis digital editing and mastering platfom in the Mastering Suite as well as to the Pro-Tools HD G5 System in the B-Room.

The B Room

The updated Studio.45 B-Room features a Trident Vector 432 Console (customized originally for the MTV Studios in NYC) and a G5 based Pro Tools HD System. This versatile room features an Apogee Rosetta A/D & D/A converter, Grace microphone pre-amplifier and dual black face Universal Audio 1176 units.
